Who? Watt? Where?

Our history

WATT Factory once was a textile factory called Fiévé, dating back to the year 1870. Eighteen years later it was taken over by Tollenaere and then by De Munter, a metal processing company. Due to the preservation of authenticity during the renovation its history still lives on in the architecture of the building.

The building came back to existence as WATT Factory, an initiative of Revive and four other investors, which started in 2017 as a Smart City Accelerator with the aim to boost successful start-ups.

Our present

Nowadays WATT Factory houses private offices and coworking spaces for businesses and entrepreneurs with a passion for Technology & Sustainability.

“The complexity of modern cities calls for new methods of collaboration. The challenges at hand need to be tackled in a co-creative framework. A smart city needs smart citizens to lead the way towards a sustainable future which will be technology enabled, though definitely human centered.”
